      From July 8 to 11, 2024, China Materials Congress 2024 and the Second World Materials Congress was held in Guangzhou Baiyun International Convention Center. The China Materials Conference is a national-level new materials brand conference, which is just after the National Science and Technology Conference, the National Science and Technology Award Conference, and the Academician Conference of the two Chambers, aiming at the goal of developing a powerful country by 2035, accelerating the construction of new quality productivity, and promoting major breakthroughs in the field of new materials. In the five fields of energy materials, environmental materials, advanced structural materials, functional materials, material design, preparation and evaluation, 92 branch forums, 3 cutting-edge hot youth forums, 8 characteristic new materials forums, 2 cutting-edge flash areas, 1 China Materials Education Conference 2024, 1 materials journal forum, 4 training courses, etc., in addition, Also held in the same period of the international new materials scientific research instruments and equipment exhibition, etc., for different needs of representatives to provide a diversified exchange platform. More than 20,000 material science and technology workers, enterprise representatives, young scholars gathered together, including more than 50 academicians of the two houses of Congress and more than 1,500 national outstanding talents to discuss and share cutting-edge materials technology and the latest research results, collision wisdom spark.

      Organized by the Integrated Circuit Materials Industry Technology Innovation Alliance, Shanghai Institute of Microsystems and Information Technology of Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Multidimensional Electronic Materials Technology Development and Promotion Center, Beijing Superstring Memory Research Institute and Shanghai Institute of Electronics Integrated Circuit Professional Committee jointly supported the "Advanced microelectronics and optoelectronic materials Sub-conference" held at the same time. It aims to promote the exchange and cooperation between experts, scholars and business people in the field of microelectronics and optoelectronic materials in China, share the latest achievements in the research of microelectronics and optoelectronic materials, processes and devices, and further enhance the academic level and technological innovation ability in the field of microelectronics and optoelectronic materials in China.

Zhao Chao of Beijing Superstring Memory Research Institute served as the chairman of the "Advanced Microelectronics and Optoelectronic Materials Sub-conference", Yu Wenjie, deputy director of Shanghai Institute of Microsystems and Information Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Yang Deren, Academician of Zhejiang University, served as the vice chairman of the sub-conference. The "Advanced Microelectronics and Optoelectronic Materials Sub-venue" has invited 13 reports, 23 oral reports, 14 wall posters, and more than 60 participants, covering various fields of microelectronics and optoelectronic materials, including: New storage materials and technologies, wide band gap semiconductor materials and devices, heterogeneous integrated materials and devices, new display materials and other materials used in the manufacture of integrated circuits and optoelectronic devices, advanced packaging materials, carbon nanotubes, carbon based functional materials such as graphene and other new two-dimensional materials, material detection technology and methods, material design theory and computational simulation.
