Male, Ph.D., professor, doctoral tutor, director of the National Key Laboratory of Silicon Materials, director of the Institute of Semiconductor Materials of Zhejiang University, Distinguished Professor of the Changjiang Scholar Award Program of the Ministry of Education, winner of the National Outstanding Youth Fund, Ministry of Science and Technology "National Key Basic Research Chief Scientist of Development Program Special Project (973), member of the National Expert Group on Major Scientific and Technological Special Projects, and head of the innovation team of “Information Functional Materials” and “Changjiang Scholars and Innovation Team Development Program” of the Ministry of Education. He has long been engaged in the research of semiconductor silicon materials, optoelectronic materials, silicon-based optoelectronic materials and nano-semiconductor materials. Great achievements have been made in the basic research of crystal growth and defect engineering of silicon crystals (especially micro-nitrogen straight-pull silicon single crystals with intellectual property rights in China). Won 2 National Natural Science Second Prizes, 3 Zhejiang Science and Technology First Prizes, 2 Provincial and Ministerial Science and Technology Second Prizes and 2 Third Prizes. Published more than 500 SCI searched papers in foreign academic journals such as "Advanced Materials" and holds more than 90 national invention patents.
