Zhang Xing is a professor at Peking University and a doctoral supervisor. He is a recipient of the National Natural Science Foundation of China’s Outstanding Young Scientists Fund, the chief scientist of the 973 Project, vice director of the Semiconductor and Integrated Technology Branch of the Chinese Institute of Electronics, and director of the Embedded Systems Professional Committee of the Chinese Computer Society. In recent years, his research has focused on novel nanoscale semiconductor device structures and fabrication processes, radiation-hardening characteristics and enhancement methods for small-size MOS devices and circuits, integrated circuit parameter libraries and cell libraries, new materials, reliability and testing, as well as process and device modeling simulations. He has co-authored over 200 academic papers and filed more than 100 invention patent applications. He has received numerous national and provincial-level awards, including the Second Prize of the National Technological Invention Award, the First Prize of the Beijing Science and Technology Award, and the First Prize of the Ministry of Education’s Natural Science Award.
