Alliance Overview

　　The Integrated Circuit Materials Industry Technology Innovation Alliance is an industry technology innovation alliance jointly initiated and established by domestic enterprises, research institutions, universities, and other organizations engaged in the manufacturing, application, research, development, and education of integrated circuit materials, all on a voluntary basis and with the common goal of promoting technological innovation and development in the integrated circuit materials industry. It is a non-profit, open, and inclusive innovation organization that complies with all applicable laws and regulations, ensures fairness, justice, and sustainable development, and is non-exclusive in nature. The Alliance was founded in 2012.

　　The Alliance’s Mission: The Alliance will integrate innovative resources across the nation’s integrated circuit materials sector, leveraging the talent, technology, and market resources of its member organizations to accelerate the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements and achieve localized supply of materials used in China’s integrated circuit manufacturing. By establishing effective collaboration mechanisms, the Alliance will enhance its overall strengths, promote the concentration of talent and the development of key technologies in China’s integrated circuit materials field, continuously improve its independent innovation capabilities, support technological innovation in China’s integrated circuits, and contribute to the global advancement of integrated circuit materials technology.

　　Alliance Innovation Goals: Under the guidance and support of relevant policies and industry authorities, the Alliance will actively leverage its resource platform and overall strengths. Targeting the demand for integrated circuit materials driven by China’s integrated circuit industry development and the global trends in cutting-edge technologies, we will integrate innovation resources, break through key technological bottlenecks, foster the development of an innovative technology system, and promote the sharing and industrialization of innovative achievements. Through 5 to 10 years of concerted efforts, we aim to elevate China’s integrated circuit materials industry as a whole to an internationally advanced level of innovation capability.

　　The alliance’s primary tasks:

　　(1) Formulate the alliance’s technological innovation goals and continuously revise these strategic objectives in accordance with the technological development needs of the integrated circuit industry.

　　(2) Jointly with member units, leverage the advantages of industry-academia-research-application collaboration to jointly undertake major scientific research projects in the field of integrated circuit materials, and accelerate the development, application, and industrialization of core technologies and key products for China’s integrated circuit materials industry.

　　(3) Coordinate the alliance’s technological resources, organize capable institutions to open up their resources on a collaborative basis, establish specialized public technology platforms, jointly tackle key technologies in the field of integrated circuit materials, develop major innovative products, enhance enterprises’ demand-driven guidance of research institutions and research institutions’ support for enterprises’ technological innovation, and accelerate the enhancement of China’s core competitiveness in the integrated circuit materials industry.

　　(4) Focus on fostering multi-faceted cooperation between integrated circuit materials companies and their users in areas such as technology development, quality management, product application, market expansion, and talent development, thereby building a local supply chain essential for the growth of the integrated circuit industry and contributing to the cultivation of world-class enterprises in the field of integrated circuit materials.

　　(5) Establish a preferential mechanism for sharing intellectual property rights, priority patent technology licensing, and other benefits among alliance members.

　　(6) Leveraging the alliance as a platform and纽带, strengthen technological cooperation, talent development, and academic exchanges with internationally leading technology innovation institutions and organizations.

　　(7) Conduct research on technological and industrial development in the field of integrated circuit materials, providing decision-making support for the technological and industrial development of the nation and relevant regions.
