Xu Congying, PhD in Chemistry, currently serves as Vice President and Technical Director at Jiangsu Nanda Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd. He is also a part-time professor and doctoral supervisor at Jiangnan University. Dr. Xu previously worked for fourteen years at Advanced Technology Materials Inc. (ATMI) in the United States, holding various positions including Chemist, Senior Chemist, R&D Manager, Tech Lead, and Advisory Technologist. At ATMI, Dr. Xu’s research focused primarily on the development of high-purity chemical vapor deposition (CVD) and atomic layer deposition (ALD) precursors. He has led ATMI’s R&D teams on numerous occasions to collaborate with internationally renowned companies such as IBM, Samsung, Intel, and Texas Instruments, jointly developing new materials and processes, thereby accumulating extensive practical work experience. Dr. Xu has published 45 academic papers and holds 91 U.S. invention patents.
