The Ninth National Congress of the China Association for Science and Technology was closed in Beijing on June 2. Wan Gang, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and Minister of the Ministry of Science and Technology, was elected as the Chairman of the Ninth National Committee of the China Association for Science and Technology, 18 people including Wang Xi, Director of Shanghai Institute of Microsystems of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Chairman of the Materials Alliance, were elected as the Vice Chairman of the 9th National Committee of China Association for Science and Technology.
