Cheng Weihua currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Yangtze Memory Technologies Co., Ltd., where he is responsible for the company’s technology research and development, production operations, and related areas. Prior to joining Yangtze Memory, Mr. Cheng Weihua held the position of Senior Vice President at Wuhan Xinxin, where he oversaw factory production and technology R&D projects. With over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, Mr. Cheng has extensive expertise spanning equipment, process technology, process integration, R&D, and production management. He has previously been involved in the establishment of SMIC’s manufacturing facilities, as well as in SMIC’s R&D and mass-production implementation of 45nm/40nm technologies.
Mr. Cheng Weihua holds a Bachelor’s degree in Semiconductor Physics and Devices from Zhejiang University and a Master’s degree in Microelectronics from the National University of Singapore.
