Product Description
Executive Vice President of the Beijing Superstring Memory Research Institute and a specially appointed expert under the National High-Level Talent Program. Previously served as Deputy Chief Engineer at the Institute of Microelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and as a professor and doctoral supervisor at the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Received a bachelor’s degree from Nanjing University in 1982 and a PhD from KU Leuven in Belgium in 1999. From 2000 to 2010, worked as a senior scientist at the European Microelectronics Research Center (IMEC), participating in IMEC’s Industrial Alliance for CMOS Manufacturing Process R&D (IIAP) and engaging in research and development of high-K/metal gate technologies and advanced copper-low-k interconnects. From 2010 to 2020, held positions as Director of the Leading-edge Integrated Circuit Process R&D Center and Deputy Chief Engineer at the Institute of Microelectronics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, leading a team that built China’s first R&D line dedicated to advanced CMOS technologies and successfully completed several major national science and technology projects. To date, has published 317 academic papers, authored one original English monograph, and been granted 187 invention patents as an inventor, including 140 Chinese patents and 47 U.S. patents.
