Male, PhD, Professor, Vice President and Technical Director of Jiangsu Nanda Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd., and Chief Scientist for High-Purity Specialty Electronic Gases under the National Key Science and Technology Project “02 Special Project.” In 1992, he went to the United States for study. From 1997 to 2011, he held various positions at a renowned U.S. electronic materials company (ATMI), including Senior Chemist, R&D Department Manager, Technical Leader, and Advisory Technologist. Dr. Xu has long been engaged in the research, development, and industrialization of high-purity electronic materials. He has led his R&D team on numerous occasions to collaborate with internationally renowned companies such as IBM, Samsung, Intel, and Texas Instruments to develop new materials and processes. Many of these products have successfully been commercialized and are now used in the manufacturing of ultra-large-scale integrated circuit chips. He has obtained 99 U.S. invention patents, published 45 academic papers, and received the “U.S. Presidential Green Chemistry Challenge Award” in 2002.
