Male, PhD, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, Director of the National Key Laboratory of Silicon Materials, Director of the Institute of Semiconductor Materials at Zhejiang University, Distinguished Professor under the Ministry of Education’s Changjiang Scholars Program, recipient of the National Fund for Distinguished Young Scientists, and recipient of the “National Key Basic Research Development Program Special Project” of the Ministry of Science and Technology. 973 Chief Scientist, Member of the Overall Expert Group for National Major Science and Technology Special Projects, and Leader of the Innovation Team under the Ministry of Education’s “Information Functional Materials” and “Changjiang Scholars and Innovation Team Development Program.” Has long been engaged in research on semiconductor silicon materials, optoelectronic materials, silicon-based optoelectronic materials, and nanoscale semiconductor materials. Achieved significant breakthroughs in fundamental research on crystal growth of silicon crystals and defect engineering—particularly in the development of micro-nitrogen-doped direct-growth silicon single crystals, for which China holds intellectual property rights.
