The Secretariat of Materials and Components Alliance organized the member units to participate in the SEMICON China 2017 held in Shanghai from March 14 to 16, 2017. The Alliance cooperated with SEMI to set up the “Materials Alliance Zone” in W5 Hall of the main integrated circuit area. The exhibitors included Juhua Group, Anji Microelectronics (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., Shanghai Sinyang Semiconductor Materials Co., Ltd., Beijing Kempur Microelectronics Materials Co., Ltd., Shanghai Simgui Technology Co., Ltd., Foshan Huate Gas Co., Ltd., Nanjing Guosheng Electronics Co., Ltd., Hubei Xingfu Electronic Materials Co., Ltd., Suzhou Jingrui Chemical Co., Ltd., Jiangyin Runma Electronic Materials Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Companion Precision Ceramics Co., Ltd., etc.
During the exhibition, Secretary General Shi Ying accompanied Qiu Gang, Deputy Director of National Science and Technology 02 Major Project Special Implementation Management Office, and the relevant leaders of the Ministry of Science and Technology to visit the booth of the Alliance.
During the exhibition, Secretary General Shi Ying invited experts from the Purchasing Department of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd., South Korea, and experts responsible for the materials purchase and supplier management in the Purchasing Department of United Semi Integrated Circuit Manufacturing (Xiamen) Co., Ltd. to visit the member units in the Alliance area, and conduct deep exchanges on the material products, technology level, production capacity, customer service, quality assurance, market development desires, etc. of relevant enterprises. The two companies expressed their willingness to cooperate with local materials companies to create a local supply chain needed for the development of the integrated circuit industry, so as to achieve cooperation and win-win, common development, and become bigger and stronger.
The Materials and Components Alliance has set up the “Materials Alliance Zone” for four consecutive years during SEMICON China, which not only facilitates mutual exchanges between member units, but also facilitates customers to have a more comprehensive understanding of domestic material enterprises. It reflects the overall advantages of the domestic integrated circuit industry, which has been widely recognized by Alliance members. During the SEMICON China 2018, the Materials and Components Alliance will continue to establish the “Materials Alliance Zone”.
