Graduated in 1984 from the Department of Materials Science at Xi'an Jiaotong University, majoring in Metallic Materials and Heat Treatment. Holds the title of Senior Engineer at the professor level and holds an MBA in Business Administration. Has been engaged in research on technological innovation and industrial technology development strategies and policies in the field of microelectronic materials. Serves as an expert in the overall group of the National Key Science and Technology Major Project (Project 02) on Manufacturing Equipment and Complete Processes for Ultra-Large-Scale Integrated Circuits; a member of the National Expert Advisory Committee for the Development of New Materials Industry; Secretary-General of the Supporting Industries Branch of the China Semiconductor Industry Association; and Executive Vice Chairman and Secretary-General of the Integrated Circuit Materials Industry Technology Innovation Alliance.
