Product Description

　　Dr. Sun Rong earned her Ph.D. from the Lanzhou Institute of Chemistry and Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences. She joined the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences, in 2006, where she was responsible for establishing the Center for Advanced Materials Research. She currently serves as the Deputy Director of the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Integrated Technologies and the Executive Director of the Center for Advanced Materials Research. Her primary research areas include advanced electronic packaging materials, embedded electronic devices, the preparation of nano-materials with controllable structures (including size, shape, and surface chemical states), phase-change materials, and energy-storage materials. Dr. Sun Rong is a well-known expert in the field of electronic packaging materials. In recent years, as project leader or key team member, she has participated in more than 20 national and provincial-level scientific and technological projects, including the National Major Science and Technology Special Project 02, the National Natural Science Foundation’s General Program, the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ regional cooperation projects, the Guangdong Provincial Department of Science and Technology’s technology development programs, and major basic research and industrial application projects in Shenzhen. She has published over 100 papers in prestigious academic journals at home and abroad, filed more than 70 invention patent applications, and authored one specialized monograph. In 2010, she was awarded the Special Government Allowance by the State Council. She is also a recipient of the “Shenzhen Double-Hundred Talents Program” and a high-level leading talent in Shenzhen.
