Zhang Xin currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at SMIC Northern Integrated Circuit Manufacturing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. She graduated from Tsinghua University with a master’s degree in Electronic Physics and Devices. She has previously held positions including Senior Engineer for Etching at Chartered Semiconductor in Singapore, Manager of the Etching Division at TSMC’s overseas fab in the U.S., Chief Manager of Etching at GlobalFoundries in Singapore, Director of the Technology R&D Transfer Department, and Senior Director of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies at SMIC. She joined SMIC Northern in January 2016 as Vice President of Advanced Manufacturing Technologies.
