Product Description

  Professor Shi Fang earned his bachelor’s degree from the Department of Materials Science at Zhejiang University. He then went on to obtain a master’s degree from Stanford University in the United States and a Ph.D. in Electronic Materials from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Shi Fang has previously worked for several Fortune 500 companies, including Intel and Micron Technology. In 2007, Dr. Shi Fang founded Longzhi Semiconductor Co., Ltd., dedicating himself to the research, development, and industrialization of high-speed, low-power memory chips. In April 2012, Longzhi Semiconductor was fully acquired by a Fortune 500 company. At the end of 2012, Dr. Shi Fang joined Nanjing University as a distinguished professor in the School of Electronic Science and Engineering.

  Dr. Shi has received the 2007 China Overseas Chinese Federation “Innovation Achievement Award,” the 4th China Semiconductor Innovation Products and Technologies Award, and the 2010 State Council Overseas Chinese Affairs Office’s “Outstanding Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award” among 100 overseas Chinese and Chinese nationals.
