Fang Shi Branch Committee

Professor Fang Shi graduated from the Department of Materials, Zhejiang University, and later obtained a master's degree from Stanford University and a Ph.D. in electronic materials from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Dr. Shi Fang has worked in Fortune 500 companies such as Intel and Micron Technology. Dr. Shi Fang founded Longzhi Semiconductor Co., Ltd. in 2007, dedicated to the development and industrialization of high-speed and low-power memory chips. Longzhi Semiconductor was wholly acquired by international top 500 companies in April 2012. Dr. Shi Fang joined Nanjing University at the end of 2012 as a Distinguished Professor in the School of Electronic Science and Engineering.
Dr. Shi won the 2007 China Overseas Chinese Federation "Independent Innovation Achievement Award", the 4th China Semiconductor Innovative Products and Technology Award, and the 2010 "Outstanding Innovation and Entrepreneurship Award" for 100 overseas Chinese from the State Council Overseas Chinese Affairs Office.
