From July 7 to 10, 2023, "China Materials Conference 2022-2023" was held in Shenzhen International Convention and Exhibition Center, Shenzhen City, Guangdong Province. This conference is also the first World Congress on Materials, which is the most cutting-edge and high-end conference in the field of materials science. The conference has 64 chapters and 13 sub-forums. Topics cover energy materials, environmental materials, semiconductor materials, additive manufacturing materials, polymer materials, high-performance fibers and their composites, superalloys, superhard materials, biomedical materials, smart materials and other materials frontier research fields. More than 19,000 material science and technology workers, enterprise representatives, young scholars gathered together, including more than 50 academicians of the two houses of Congress and more than 1,500 national outstanding talents to discuss and share cutting-edge materials technology and the latest research results, collision wisdom spark.

Organized by the Integrated Circuit Materials Industry Technology Innovation Alliance, the "Advanced Microelectronics and optoelectronic Materials Sub-Conference" jointly supported by the Shanghai Institute of Microsystems and Information Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing Multidimensional Electronic Materials Technology Development and Promotion Center and Beijing Superstring Memory Research Institute was held at the same time. It aims to promote the exchange and cooperation between experts, scholars and business people in the field of microelectronics and optoelectronic materials in China, share the latest achievements in the research of microelectronics and optoelectronic materials, processes and devices, and further enhance the academic level and technological innovation ability in the field of microelectronics and optoelectronic materials in China.

Zhao Chao, researcher of Beijing Superstring Memory Research Institute, served as the chairman of the "Advanced Microelectronics and Optoelectronic Materials Sub-conference", and Yang Deren, Academician of Zhejiang University, served as the vice chairman of the sub-conference. The "Advanced Microelectronics and Optoelectronic Materials Sub-venue" has 3 keynote speeches, 10 invited reports, 30 oral reports, 18 wall posters, and more than 100 participants. The report covers various fields in the field of microelectronics and optoelectronic materials, including: new storage materials and technologies; Ge, Si based wide band gap compound semiconductor substrate materials; New display materials and other materials used in the manufacture of integrated circuits and optoelectronic devices; Advanced packaging materials; Carbon nanotubes, graphene and other carbon-based functional materials and other new two-dimensional materials; Material testing technology and method; Material design theory and computational simulation.
