Jianghua Micro’s 228,000-ton-per-year ultra-high-purity wet electronic chemicals project has commenced construction.

On December 5, at the groundbreaking ceremony, Jiangyin Jianghua Microelectronics Materials Co., Ltd. successfully commenced construction of its project in Zhenjiang, which will have an annual production capacity of 228,000 tons of ultra-high-purity wet electronic chemicals, 7,000 tons of industrial-grade chemicals as by-products, and a recycling facility. The project covers an area of 180 mu, with a total investment of approximately 1.702 billion yuan. The production facilities span about 35,000 square meters, and nearly 1,700 pieces of equipment—including nearly 150 sets of testing devices—are all at internationally advanced levels. The product grades will meet SEMI standards G4 and G5, and the primary customers will be manufacturers of advanced-process semiconductor integrated circuits for 12-inch wafers and next-generation display panels.

On December 5, the project undertaken by Jiangyin Jianghua Microelectronics Materials Co., Ltd. in Zhenjiang—a facility with an annual production capacity of 228,000 tons of ultra-high-purity wet electronic chemicals, 7,000 tons of industrial-grade chemicals as byproducts, and a recycling facility—began construction smoothly.

The project, which has now commenced construction, covers an area of 180 mu and has a total investment of approximately 1.702 billion yuan. The production facility spans about 35,000 square meters, and nearly 1,700 sets of production equipment—as well as nearly 150 sets of testing equipment—have all reached internationally advanced standards. The products will meet SEMI standards at G4 and G5 levels, and the primary customers will be companies engaged in advanced-process semiconductor integrated circuits using 12-inch wafers and new-generation high-generation panel display manufacturers.

“The Jianghua Micro Zhenjiang Project will help enhance the company’s production capacity and quality of ultra-high-purity wet electronic chemicals, thereby meeting the continuously growing demand in the domestic market. Leveraging the resource advantages and geographical location of the Zhenjiang New Area, the company is seizing market development opportunities, effectively boosting its competitiveness and market share in the semiconductor integrated circuits and panel display sectors, and further consolidating and strengthening its leading position in the industry,” said Mr. Yin Fuhua, Chairman of Jianghua Micro. The ultra-high-purity wet electronic chemicals produced by this project can supply semiconductor integrated circuit and next-generation panel display companies across East China and even nationwide. After the project goes into operation, its products are expected to replace imports, breaking foreign monopolies and playing a positive role in the localization of high-end electronic materials in China.
