The Beijing Kede Quartz High-end Quartz Products Industrialization Project Has Successfully Commenced Construction.

On May 30, the industrialization project for high-end quartz products—invested and constructed by Beijing Kede Quartz Co., Ltd. (referred to as “Kede Quartz”)—was officially launched and ignited, marking the start of pilot production.

Kaidi Quartz is a leading enterprise in China’s quartz product R&D and manufacturing industry. The project under construction has a total investment of 500 million yuan and will focus on developing and industrializing high-end quartz components in 8-inch and 12-inch sizes. Once fully operational, the facility is expected to achieve an annual production capacity of over 100,000 units of high-end quartz products. Currently, the new factory has completed two production lines—high-temperature processing and cold-processing—capable of meeting customers’ personalized customization needs for various products.

The new factory has introduced advanced cleaning equipment that is on par with the world’s leading standards, which will significantly enhance the purity of quartz products. According to the company’s head, the completion of this project will optimize the company’s product mix, substantially improve its technological level and production capacity, and accelerate the localization of quartz components.

Quartz products serve as the direct carriers for chips and are indispensable key materials in chip manufacturing. The project will also provide supporting quartz products to high-end chip manufacturers in the region, further enhancing the integrated circuit industry chain. As the project is implemented and put into practice, the security of China’s domestic supply chain for quartz products used in semiconductors will be further strengthened.
