The 2022 Annual Meeting of the Alliance Standardization Technical Committee was held with great ceremony.

From January 10 to 11, 2023, the 2022 Annual Meeting of the Standardization Committee of the Zhongguancun Integrated Circuit Materials Industry Technology Innovation Alliance was successfully held. This conference was conducted online, and a total of representatives from 38 member units attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Director Liu Bing. Secretary Wang Daxiang of the Standards Committee delivered a report to all committee members on “2022.” Main Work for the Year and 2023 The report on the annual work plan.

In 2022, the Secretariat organized relevant enterprises to complete all stages—initiation, drafting, review, and publication—of a total of three batches of group standards: the first batch for 2021 and 2022, and the second batch for 2022. A cumulative total of 22 group standards have been published, yielding abundant standardization achievements.

The “Construction and Research of a Standard System for Integrated Circuit Materials” has achieved phased results. In February 2022, the Secretariat launched the project’s research work and established five research groups composed of representatives from various member units to carry out specific tasks. In November, after organizing and analyzing the research data and information, the Secretariat completed a research report totaling over 14,000 characters.

At the meeting, reports were also given on the work related to the introduction and recruitment of observers for the standards committee, as well as on external liaison and cooperation efforts.

In 2023, the development of alliance group standards will be closely integrated with the research findings of the system, guiding the initiation and formulation of these standards. At the same time, taking the “Quality Evaluation Index for Integrated Circuit Material Suppliers” standard as a key driver, we will deepen collaboration with preliminary assessment activities, complete the upgrade and transformation to “Qualified Supplier Pre-assessment 2.0,” and leverage this standard as a tool to fully realize the value of evaluation activities.

After the report was presented, Director Liu Bing led the attending committee members in a lively discussion of the aforementioned work report. The committee members unanimously agreed that the work carried out with the Secretariat as the central hub had been meticulous and solidly implemented. In particular, the research on group standards and system development had steadily advanced, and the Standardization Committee had achieved satisfactory results in 2022. At the same time, the committee members expressed their endorsement of the Standardization Committee’s future directions and actively offered suggestions and shared their experiences. Finally, the conference approved the work report titled “Main Work in 2022 and Work Plan for 2023.”

On the afternoon of the 10th and on the 11th, the conference held review sessions in the form of plenary meetings and breakout group meetings, respectively, to examine six standards: “Quality Evaluation Indicators for Integrated Circuit Material Suppliers,” “Alumina Ceramic Products for Integrated Circuits,” “Mixed Gas 20% Fluorine/Nitrogen for Integrated Circuits,” “Sealing Gaskets for Semiconductor Silicon Material Processing Equipment,” “High-Purity Aluminum-Scandium Alloy Targets for Integrated Circuits,” and “Chemical-Mechanical Polishing Pads for Integrated Circuits.”

During the review of various standards, the drafting organization provided a detailed, item-by-item introduction of the standard development process and the specific content of each standard. After listening to the briefing and reviewing the relevant materials, the attending committee members and user representatives examined the submitted draft standards and put forward specific comments and suggestions for revision. At the conclusion of the meeting, all standards were put to a vote and unanimously approved. The conference resolved that each unit should revise its standards according to the review comments, prepare the final draft for approval, and submit it to the Secretariat for formal approval.
