Notice on Soliciting Project Proposals for the First Batch of Group Standards to be Developed in 2023

To all relevant units:

According to the Regulations on the Management of Alliance Group Standards, in order to promote the standardization efforts of the alliance, we are now launching the first round of solicitation for 2023 alliance group standard proposals. The relevant details are hereby notified as follows:

I. Project Requirements

1. Standard projects should closely focus on the technological achievements related to nine major product categories—substrate materials, masks, lithography materials, electronic gases, process chemicals, polishing materials, sputtering targets, packaging materials, and consumables—taking as their primary direction and goal the enhancement of industrial competitiveness, the promotion of the commercialization of scientific and technological achievements, and the standardization of industry development.

2. Standard projects shall be consistent with existing laws, regulations, and mandatory standards. Their content shall not overlap with or duplicate that of current national standards, industry standards, local standards, or group standards. Moreover, their technical requirements shall not be lower than the relevant technical requirements stipulated in current national and industry standards.

3. The applying entity should have a solid working foundation relevant to the standard project, as well as the necessary supporting technical capabilities, equipment, and personnel. The content of the standard project should be mature and based on well-established groundwork. The applying entity should proactively collaborate with at least one peer organization or user entity when submitting the application.

II. Application Requirements

1. The applying organization is requested to carefully complete the “Proposal for Initiating a Group Standard Development or Revision Project” (Attachment 1), affix the official seal of the organization, scan the electronic version, and send it to the Secretariat.

2. Send the draft of the group standard and the preparation instructions in Word format to the Secretariat.

3. The application deadline is November 30, 2022.
