Good news! Anji Technology has won the 5th IC Innovation Award.

On July 9, the “2022 Integrated Circuit Industry Chain Collaborative Innovation and Development Exchange Conference & China Integrated Circuit Innovation Alliance Annual Meeting,” hosted by the China Integrated Circuit Innovation Alliance (hereinafter referred to as the “Alliance”), was held both in person and via online video conferencing across the country. Hundreds of representatives from companies, universities, and research institutes spanning all segments of the integrated circuit industry chain attended the conference. Dr. Wang Shumin, Chairperson of Anji Technology, and Ms. Jing Jianfen, Deputy General Manager, were invited to attend the event.

Dr. Wang Shumin has been awarded the Outstanding Contribution Award for Industrial Innovation.

The China Integrated Circuit Innovation Alliance is a non-profit innovation organization jointly initiated and established by leading enterprises across the entire integrated circuit industry chain, universities, research institutes, and social organizations.
The “Integrated Circuit Industry Technology Innovation Award” (hereinafter referred to as the “IC Innovation Award”) ceremony was held at the meeting. Anji Technology’s project, “Industrialization of Copper and Copper Barrier Polishing Slurries for 130nm-14nm Logic Processes,” received the “IC Innovation Award—Achievement Industrialization Award.”
Since 2018, the alliance has established the “IC Innovation Award,” which is reviewed annually thereafter. The “IC Innovation Award” boasts a high threshold, stringent criteria, and substantial prestige. Receiving this honor reflects the high recognition of Anji’s innovative R&D efforts and its achievements in promoting industrialization.

From its inception, the company has positioned itself as a one-stop partner in the high-end semiconductor materials sector. It was among the first to focus on chemically mechanical polishing liquids and photoresist strippers—both of which present significant technical and R&D challenges—and has consistently remained committed to investing heavily in these areas.
As early as 2020, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology awarded Anji Technology a place on the second batch of the national “Little Giant” list for specialized, sophisticated, and new enterprises. This recognition highlights Anji Technology’s sustained commitment to innovative R&D and its successful achievement of “specialized, refined, and distinctive development with strong innovation capabilities.”
We have successfully broken the monopoly held by foreign manufacturers over chemical-mechanical polishing slurries for integrated circuits and certain functional wet electronic chemicals used in the semiconductor industry, achieving import substitution and enabling China to gain independent supply capabilities in this field.

The award of the “IC Innovation Award” this time underscores the industry’s high recognition of Anji Technology’s ongoing contributions to industrial support and its significant economic value.

Anji Technology possesses a series of core technologies with independent intellectual property rights. The ownership of these core technologies is clearly defined, and their technical level is either internationally advanced or domestically leading. These technologies are mature and widely used in the mass production of the company’s products.

Anji Technology has broken the foreign technology monopoly and has successively completed the development and domestic supply of products including copper and copper barrier layers, tungsten, rare-earth cerium oxide, silicon polishing liquids, and Cu PERR. In collaboration with Changcun, the company has engaged in original innovation and developed the world’s only polishing liquid technology for Xtacking, thereby making a significant contribution to the localization of storage chips.

In the future, Anji Technology will work hand in hand with China’s integrated circuit industry to accelerate technological innovation in China’s integrated circuits and help elevate our country’s R&D capabilities in this field to an internationally leading level.
