Jinhong Gases: Newly Won Bulk Orders for Electronic Gases from Several Semiconductor Companies
According to a report by Jiwei.com, on May 23, JinHong Gas (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) announced on its investor interaction platform that it had signed supply contracts with Northern Integrated Circuit Technology Innovation Center (Beijing) Co., Ltd. for approximately RMB 1.2 billion (excluding tax), with a term of 15 years, and with Guangdong Xinyueneng Semiconductor Co., Ltd. for approximately RMB 1 billion (excluding tax), with a term of 20 years. Meanwhile, the Company recently won a major gas procurement order from Guangdong Guangda Electronics, marking a significant breakthrough in its customer base in the MINI-LED and GaN chip sectors.
Jinhong Gases also stated that currently, domestic capital investment in the semiconductor sector is relatively high, and it is expected that the pace of investment will not slow down over the next 3 to 5 years. As a result, the domestic market for bulk electronic gases holds great potential. Bulk electronic gases are one of the company’s key business areas for development, and the company currently has numerous orders under negotiation. It will not miss any potential order opportunities, and its future development looks promising.
It is reported that in recent years, Jin Hong Gas Company has been actively introducing specialized talents, increasing R&D investment, and innovating to develop specialty gas products that can replace imported ones. The company has made specialty gases and bulk gases used in the electronic semiconductor sector its key R&D focus. The ultra-pure ammonia, high-purity hydrogen, high-purity nitrous oxide, electronic-grade ethyl orthosilicate, high-purity carbon dioxide, silane mixtures, octafluorocyclobutane, and other ultra-high-purity gases developed by the company have reached the same quality standards as those of foreign gas giants. As a result, the company has become a gas supplier to numerous well-known clients in China’s electronic semiconductor industry. It also boasts the only national enterprise technology center in China’s gas industry dedicated exclusively to the R&D of electronic gases, a CNAS-accredited laboratory, a postdoctoral research workstation, the Jiangsu Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Specialty Gases and Adsorbents Preparation, and other key R&D institutions in Jiangsu Province. Currently, the company holds 255 patents, including 43 invention patents.
Publicly available information shows that Suzhou Jinhong Gas Co., Ltd. was founded in 1999 and listed on the STAR Market in 2020. It is an environmentally friendly, intensive gas supplier that provides integrated solutions encompassing the R&D, production, sales, and service of gases. The company has consistently been committed to increasing investment and fostering cooperation in high-quality waste gas recovery projects—such as those for carbon dioxide, nitrous oxide, and hydrogen—to achieve energy conservation, emission reduction, green environmental protection, and vigorous development of the circular economy, while actively participating in the development of the hydrogen energy industry chain. Starting in 2020, the company began deploying a full industrial-chain strategy by acquiring liquid helium storage tanks and directly importing liquid helium from overseas. Following the arrival of its first imported helium tank on March 25, 2022, the company has continued to import scarce helium resources. In early May 2022, a second imported helium tank also arrived in mainland China and has now completed customs clearance.
