Jingrui Electronic Materials: High-purity G5-grade sulfuric acid for semiconductor applications—used in 12-inch chip manufacturing—is now being shipped in bulk to major chipmakers.

On April 17, Jingrui Electric Materials announced that its G5-grade high-purity sulfuric acid—a semiconductor-grade, ultra-high-purity electronic chemical—has recently begun mass shipments to 12-inch chip manufacturers.

Jingrui Electronic Materials pointed out that its controlled subsidiary, Nantong Yangheng Chemical, is currently constructing a super-large-scale semiconductor-grade high-purity sulfuric acid project with an annual capacity of 90,000 tons. The first phase of the project, with a capacity of 30,000 tons, has already been officially put into operation, and construction of the second phase, with a capacity of 60,000 tons, is now underway. Once the full capacity of 90,000 tons is reached, the controlled subsidiary, Nantong Yangheng Chemical, is expected to become the largest domestic production base for G5-level semiconductor-grade high-purity sulfuric acid.

It is reported that currently, Jingrui Electric Materials’ high-purity sulfuric acid for semiconductors has secured bulk procurement orders from some of its major customers, while certification and testing procedures for the remaining major customers are being carried out in an orderly manner.
