Working Together with "Xin" to Fight the Epidemic and Ensure Production

On the evening of March 27, following the issuance of the "Notice on Carrying Out the New Round of Nucleic Acid Screening Across the City" in Shanghai, 1,500 HuaHong employees who were not under lockdown in their residential communities promptly responded to the company’s urgent call and, overnight, headed against the flow of traffic to the Zhangjiang and Jinqiao campuses—areas soon to be placed under lockdown. They provided strong support to ensure the smooth operation of three 8-inch production lines during the lockdown period, demonstrating through their actions the “HuaHong 520 Spirit.”

Zhongjuxin is an important partner and supplier of electronic chemical raw materials to HuaHong Group. The anti-epidemic and production-maintaining efforts of HuaHong employees are deeply concerning to the people at Zhongjuxin.

Ensuring supply of raw materials, working together to fight the epidemic.

During the lockdown period in Pudong New Area, to ensure that critical electronic and chemical raw materials could be delivered promptly to HuaHong Macro’s various factories, Zhongju Xin specially established an “Emergency Command Task Force for Epidemic Prevention and Control.” The company’s general manager personally took on the role of task force leader and coordinates daily arrangements for production, packaging, and logistics. To guarantee smooth logistics while complying with epidemic control requirements in different regions, Zhongju Xin made special arrangements for logistics drivers to take turns at highway interchanges. More than ten logistics drivers have been living and eating on the highways for over ten consecutive days.

From March 28 to April 2, Zhongjuxin successfully transported a total of 11 shipments of production materials—comprising 150 tons of products such as sulfuric acid, nitric acid, hydrofluoric acid, and ammonia water—to various factories under HuaHong Group, thereby ensuring the stable production and operations of HuaHong’s plants.

The Shanghai epidemic has deeply concerned people across the country, and the team at Zhongjuxin has been closely following the situation of HuaHong’s “fight against the epidemic while ensuring production.” As a strategically important national enterprise, HuaHong Hongli needs to maintain 24-hour, 365-day production throughout the year. Faced with this tough battle to both fight the epidemic and keep production running, Zhongjuxin hopes to do its small part to support our HuaHong colleagues who are steadfastly holding their posts.

On April 1, it was reported that more than 1,500 employees stationed at HuaHong Macro had been sleeping on the floor for a week due to a shortage of items such as sleeping mats. The Emergency Command Task Force for Epidemic Prevention and Control at Zhongju Xin immediately sprang into action, mobilizing resources from various sources and urgently procuring 1,500 sleeping mats, 2,000 sets of disposable socks and underwear from Quzhou, Yiwu, and Changshan. These supplies were dispatched overnight. At the same time, given the severe shortage of transportation capacity under epidemic control measures, the task force coordinated extensively to arrange logistics vehicles and drivers, ensuring that the employees at HuaHong Macro could start using these supplies one day earlier. At 9:00 a.m. on April 2, as soon as the purchased supplies arrived, they were promptly loaded onto trucks and set off. The task force also tracked the delivery route in real time, guaranteeing that the supplies would reach HuaHong’s Shanghai and Wuxi plants as quickly as possible.

Starting from 9:30 a.m. on April 1, the procurement of supplies was completed by 7:30 p.m. on April 2—within just 34 hours, the team at Zhongjuxin raced against time, demonstrating exceptional efficiency and unwavering determination in the face of challenges. Together, we joined forces to fight this persistent epidemic, for we believe that no spring is ever too far away, and no night will last forever. Now that spring has arrived and the long night is about to give way to dawn, we stand united, patiently awaiting the warmth of spring and the blossoming of flowers.
