The Integrated Circuit Materials Industry Technology Innovation Alliance organized its member companies to participate in the “Quality Assurance and Customer Service” training conference.

On November 10, 2021, the training conference on “Quality Assurance and Customer Service,” jointly organized by the Integrated Circuit Materials Industry Technology Innovation Alliance and Ningbo Jiangfeng Electronic Materials Co., Ltd., was successfully held. Given the recent impact of the pandemic, this conference was conducted via online training. A total of 142 representatives from 45 member companies of the Alliance attended the training. The integrated circuit manufacturing process is complex and highly demanding; in the integrated circuit industry, quality and safety standards are such that “no mistakes are allowed.” It is hoped that through this comprehensive sharing of quality management practices, the quality control capabilities and management systems of integrated circuit materials enterprises will be enhanced, enabling them to better serve the integrated circuit manufacturing industry. Shi Ying, Secretary-General of the Alliance, attended the conference. Tang Yueyue, Director of the Quality Department at Ningbo Jiangfeng Electronic Materials Co., Ltd.; Lu Dianyan, Head of the Quality Assurance Section; and Wang Liqing, Head of the Quality Control Section, served as the trainers for this session.

Secretary-General Shi Ying first extended a warm welcome to the representatives from all participating companies and expressed gratitude to the trainers from Jiangfeng Electronics. Enhancing quality management among suppliers has long been a core commitment of the Materials Alliance, with the goal of enabling every member company within the alliance to excel in both quality assurance and customer service. During the preliminary review of supplier pre-assessment questionnaires conducted by the Materials Alliance’s evaluation team, several issues were identified. In response, the Alliance Secretariat engaged in thorough communication and preparation with quality-control experts from Jiangfeng Electronics, ultimately co-organizing this targeted training session. Moving forward, the Alliance will continue to offer a series of training programs tailored to the needs of its member companies. We sincerely hope that today’s training and discussions will play a positive role in helping companies improve their supplier management practices and enhance overall quality performance.
