Anji Technology Wins the “Outstanding Contribution Award in the Industry”

On April 22, 2021, the 20th-anniversary celebration of the Shanghai Integrated Circuit Industry Association and the First Session of the 6th Membership Congress were solemnly held at the Shanghai International Conference Center.

During this celebratory event, the conference announced two important awards: the “Industry New Chip Award” for 20 companies and the “Industry Outstanding Contribution Award” for 30 companies. The selected enterprises encompass those from across Shanghai’s integrated circuit industry chain—including design, manufacturing, packaging, testing, and equipment & materials—each of which has made significant contributions. The selection process involved a comprehensive evaluation based on multiple dimensions, such as the companies’ industry standing, innovation capabilities, sustainable development, and market recognition. As a result, Anji Technology was honored with the “Industry Outstanding Contribution Award.”

Anji Technology’s core business focuses on the R&D and industrialization of critical semiconductor materials. Its current product portfolio includes various series of chemical-mechanical polishing slurries and photoresist strippers, primarily used in integrated circuit manufacturing and advanced packaging applications. The company has successfully broken the monopoly held by foreign manufacturers over chemical-mechanical polishing slurries and photoresist strippers in the integrated circuit sector, achieving import substitution and enabling China to establish independent supply capabilities in this field.

In the chemical-mechanical polishing (CMP) slurry sector, Anji Technology is actively strengthening and comprehensively expanding its product lineup across all categories, aiming to provide customers with a complete, one-stop solution. On the one hand, Anji Technology’s CMP slurries include a range of products such as silicon polishing slurries, shallow-trench isolation (STI) polishing slurries, dielectric-layer polishing slurries, tungsten polishing slurries, copper and copper-barrier-layer polishing slurries, through-silicon-via (TSV) polishing slurries, and polishing slurries based on cerium oxide abrasives. On the other hand, post-polishing cleaning solutions are complementary materials used in the CMP process, including series such as copper-process post-polishing cleaning solutions, tungsten-process post-polishing cleaning solutions, aluminum-process post-polishing cleaning solutions, and polishing-pad cleaning solutions.

Anji Technology’s chemical-mechanical polishing (CMP) slurry products are now supplied to numerous logic chip and memory chip manufacturers both domestically and internationally, making the company a leading CMP slurry supplier in China. These products have been successfully applied in 130-14nm logic chip processes, memory chip processes, and 3D integration processes, and products for the 10-7nm technology node are currently under development. Meanwhile, leveraging its CMP slurry technology and product platform, the company also supports customers’ diverse process requirements by custom-developing CMP slurries tailored for new technologies and processes. In addition, to support the development of third-generation semiconductors, the company has actively engaged in the technological R&D and test verification of corresponding CMP slurry products.

In the photoresist stripper segment, Anji Technology is dedicated to overcoming technical challenges at leading-edge process nodes and providing corresponding products and solutions. Depending on the downstream application areas of photoresists, photoresist strippers include a series of products tailored for integrated circuit manufacturing, wafer-level packaging, and LED/OLED applications, among others.
Anji Technology has successively received honors including “Top 10 Chinese Semiconductor Materials Enterprises,” “Shanghai High-Tech Enterprise,” “Shanghai Little Giant Enterprise,” “Shanghai Patent Demonstration Enterprise,” and “Top 500 Chinese Enterprises in Patent Strength 2020 and Top 100 Chinese Semiconductor Enterprises in Patents.”
