Guided by “customer needs,” Zhongjuxin launches its “going global” strategic initiative.

On December 3, the Shanghai Electronic Chemicals Special Zone Promotion Conference and the International Forum on Innovative Development of Electronic Chemicals, themed “Co-create New Materials, Jointly Win the Future of Chips,” were held in Shanghai. During the forum, a unveiling ceremony for the Shanghai Electronic Chemicals Special Zone was also held.

Wu Qing, Member of the Standing Committee of the Shanghai Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, unveiled the Shanghai Special Zone for Electronic Chemicals.

Zhou Liyang, General Manager of Juhua Group Co., Ltd., attended the event. Chen Gang, General Manager of Zhongju Xin Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Zhongju Xin"), a vice-chairman unit of the alliance, represented Zhongju Xin in signing a letter of intent for cooperation with Shanghai Chemical Industry Park Development Co., Ltd., planning to leverage Shanghai’s geographical advantages to develop and industrialize electronic chemical materials.

Zhongjuxin, known for its strategy of accumulating strength steadily before making a big impact, has been actively making moves recently. In November, Zhongjuxin signed an investment intention agreement with the local government of Qianjiang City in Hubei Province to build a 149,000-ton ultra-pure electronic chemicals production base there, aimed at supplying integrated circuit companies in the Central China region. Once this production base goes into operation, it will not only better serve key customers in surrounding areas such as Wuhan and Hefei but also complement the capacity of the Quzhou production base, thereby meeting customers’ demands for “continuous and stable supply.” Meanwhile, the commissioning of the Qianjiang base will also strongly boost the company’s market expansion in the Sichuan-Chongqing region.

In addition, Zhongjuxin is actively planning the layout of a production base in the North China region at the request of its customers.

Currently, Zhongjuxin’s business covers three major segments: electronic wet chemicals, electronic gases, and precursors. After years of development, Zhongjuxin has become a leading domestic enterprise capable of large-scale production of SEMI’s highest-specification G5-grade electronic wet chemicals. At its headquarters in Quzhou, Zhejiang Province, the company operates a production facility with an annual capacity of 130,000 tons. Its products are widely supplied to 12-inch and 8-inch wafer fabs and are also exported to overseas markets. Electronic-grade hydrofluoric acid is now being supplied in bulk to 12-inch fabs for 1x-nanometer processes (referring to processes at or above 10 nm but below 20 nm), while electronic-grade sulfuric acid is being supplied in bulk to 12-inch fabs for 28-nanometer processes, thus achieving import substitution for advanced-process materials. Zhongjuxin boasts a world-class, high-purity electronic-gas manufacturing facility and is the only domestic enterprise that simultaneously possesses industrial-scale capabilities for producing etching and cleaning gases such as chlorine, hydrogen chloride, and hydrogen fluoride.
