Notice from the Ministry of Finance, the State Administration of Taxation, and the General Administration of Customs on the Publication of the List of Exempted Import Duties for Scientific Research, Technological Development, and Teaching Supplies

Finance Departments (Bureaus) of all provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government, and cities under separate planning; State Administration of Taxation; Guangdong Branch of the General Administration of Customs; all directly affiliated customs offices; and the Finance Bureau of the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps:

　　To thoroughly implement the guiding principles of the Party Central Committee and the State Council on the innovation-driven development strategy and to leverage the leading role of scientific and technological innovation in comprehensive innovation, with the approval of the State Council, the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Customs, and the State Administration of Taxation jointly issued the “Notice on Tax Policies Supporting Imports for Scientific and Technological Innovation during the 13th Five-Year Plan Period” (Cai Guan Shui [2016]...). [No. 70]. We hereby publish the list of tax-exempt imported scientific research, technological development, and teaching supplies (see attachment for details), which shall take effect as of January 1, 2016.
