All member units: The sudden outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia epidemic has deeply touched the hearts of every Chinese citizen. In recent days, under the strong leadership of the Party Central Committee and the State Council, people across the country have united as one and are making every possible effort to fight against the epidemic. The China Integrated Circuit Materials Industry Innovation Alliance is under the jurisdiction of the state. 02 Under the leadership of the Office of Major Special Projects, the alliance comprises over a hundred Chinese integrated circuit materials enterprises. At this critical moment when the entire country is united in its efforts to prevent and control the epidemic, in order to better contribute our strength to winning the battle against the pandemic, the alliance issues an appeal: We call on all member units to mobilize all available resources, fully engage in epidemic prevention and control, effectively safeguard enterprise safety, and fulfill our social responsibilities.
1. Enhance awareness, build consensus, and firmly maintain confidence in victory. All member units of the alliance should actively engage in self-help, self-defense, self-control, and self-rescue; be well-informed and take informed action; proactively contact and report to local prevention and control organizations; and, in accordance with the unified deployment of the government, treat epidemic prevention and control as the most important task at hand. With a highly responsible attitude, we must carry out epidemic prevention and control work effectively within our enterprises, adopt a serious and resolute fighting spirit to win this tough battle against the epidemic, ensure timely information dissemination, implement scientifically sound and effective prevention and control measures, and guarantee that the decisions and deployments of both the central and local governments are fully put into practice.
II. Obey the overall situation, fulfill our responsibilities, and strive to be pioneers and role models. All member units of the alliance should, after the holiday, resume production by assessing the situation carefully and acting in accordance with the overall interests. Pay close attention to screening and monitoring employees returning to work, and if necessary, cooperate with isolation measures as required. Prioritize the safety of employees and ensure production safety by preparing comprehensive contingency plans. Adopt scientific prevention and control measures, and rigorously carry out all epidemic prevention tasks, including personnel management, temperature checks, and site disinfection. Uphold a people-centered approach—especially for employees returning from key regions—and assign dedicated personnel to provide psychological support and care. Coordinate resources effectively, guarantee production safety, and make every effort to win the battle against the epidemic.
3. Leverage production capacity, ensure stable supply, and pool maximum strength. All member units of the alliance should, while fully implementing their respective epidemic prevention and control measures, do their utmost to maximize production capacity and ensure stable supply. Materials companies should make every effort to secure the supply of integrated circuit materials, particularly by giving top priority to timely supply and service for Yangtze Memory Technologies and Wuhan Xinxin—key regions heavily affected by the epidemic—and contribute our part to winning the battle against the epidemic.
4. Stand together in solidarity, overcome these difficult times together, and spread the power of compassion. To curb the spread of the epidemic and make every effort to win the battle against COVID-19, while upholding the fine tradition of "when one side is in trouble, all sides offer support," we call upon member units that are able to do so to join in the donation drive for urgently needed supplies at the front lines, or to leverage their strengths in logistics and international procurement to provide assistance to the affected areas and collectively help frontline workers fight the epidemic.
The epidemic is an order; prevention and control is our responsibility; safeguarding our territory is our duty; and acts of kindness are our dedication. We firmly believe that as long as we remain confident, work in unison from top to bottom, and unite as one, we will surely win this tough battle against the epidemic!
