The first meeting of the Integrated Circuit Materials Alliance Electronic Gases Workshop was successfully held in Shanghai.

On May 31, 2019, the first meeting of the Electronic Gases Workshop, hosted by the Materials Alliance and organized by Shanghai Zhengfan Technology Co., Ltd., was successfully held at the Zhengfan Technology Building in Shanghai.

2019 Year 5 Moon 31 Day, by the Integrated Circuit Materials Industry Technology Innovation Alliance ( Hereinafter referred to as the “Materials Alliance” ) Electronic Gases Organized by and Undertaken by Shanghai Zhengfan Technology Co., Ltd. Workshop The first meeting was successfully held at the Zhengfan Technology Building in Shanghai.

The delegates attending the meeting engaged in a lively discussion on the safety management of the production, transportation, use, and storage of specialty electronic gases. They unanimously agreed that safety management for specialty electronic gases is of paramount importance. It is essential to strengthen employees’ safety awareness, improve the safety management system, promote the development and updating of industry standards and regulations for the safe handling of specialty electronic gases, and advance the establishment of emergency response platforms specifically designed for specialty electronic gases, thereby effectively mitigating potential safety risks associated with these gases.

Wu Zhuoneng, Quality Department Manager at the Second Fab of Wuxi CR Microelectronics Technology Co., Ltd., delivered a report on opportunities and challenges in enhancing the quality of domestically produced electronics, sharing CR Micro’s successful experiences in quality management. He outlined the challenges facing the localization of specialty electronic gases from four perspectives: personnel management, process control, zero defects, and change management. He also pointed out that the industry currently suffers from weak risk awareness among personnel and a lack of robustness in production processes. PDCA Issues such as impaired circulation, inadequate risk management, and unauthorized changes to product standards—emphasizing that ensuring the stability of product quality is a prerequisite for advancing the localization of electronic gases. Unauthorized changes to product standards could lead to... Fab A major quality issue at the factory has resulted in significant economic losses.

Wu Zhuoneng, Quality Department Manager of HuaRun Shanghua’s Fab 2, delivered a report.

Shi Ying, Secretary-General of the Materials Alliance, delivered a speech and presented an analysis report on the current status of the electronic gas industry. Using comprehensive data, the report covered the composition of professionals in the electronic gas sector, investment in R&D and industrial development, the number of patents, production capacity, sales revenue, net profit, sales revenue from key products, as well as the pivotal processes involved in their applications. FAB An analysis was conducted on aspects such as the bulk application of electronic gases in factories, and it was pointed out that the specialty electronic gas industry currently faces issues including insufficient R&D investment by enterprises, severe product homogenization, price competition among companies, and a year-on-year decline in corporate net profit margins—issues that deserve serious attention from the industry.
