In his speech, Deputy Director Peng Hongbing pointed out that in recent years, China’s integrated circuit industry has been thriving. He noted that China’s integrated circuit industry chain still faces challenges such as an unstable foundation, heavy reliance on imported core technologies and equipment, and a high degree of external dependence. Thus, it is essential to promote closer collaboration across the upstream and downstream sectors of the integrated circuit industry. At the same time, the state will adjust the catalog of tax-free imports at appropriate times to encourage domestic enterprises to adopt domestically produced and locally sourced products as much as possible.
In his speech, Vice Mayor Li Dongliang stated: Xiamen’s integrated circuit industry chain has now covered...
