( “ Zhonghuan Shares ” Field research was conducted. Attending the event were Shen Haoping, General Manager of Zhonghuan Shares; Gao Shuliang, Deputy General Manager and Chief Engineer of Zhonghuan Shares; Wang Yanjun, General Manager of Huanou Company; Zhang Xuenan, Deputy General Manager of Huanou Company; and Li Xiang, General Manager of Zhonghuan Leading. 02 Experts from the special overall expert panel, including Shi Ying, Secretary-General of the Materials Alliance, and Yu Wenjie, Deputy Secretary-General of the Materials Alliance, accompanied the inspection.

Academician Wang Xi and his delegation held discussions with senior leaders of Zhonghuan Shares regarding the company’s undertakings. 02 In-depth discussions were held on topics including the progress of special projects, the company’s operational status, and its future development plans. Huanou Company reported on the projects the company is undertaking. 02 Special Project “ Industrialization Technology for Zone-Melting Silicon Single Crystals and Development of Domestically Produced Equipment ” ( “ Project ” ) the research content, R&D progress and achievements obtained, as well as the current status and prospects of the industry. The project includes: 6–8 Development of inch-sized zone-melted silicon single crystals and silicon wafers, IGBT The project covers three key areas: device design and manufacturing process R&D, and the development of domestically produced zone-melting furnace equipment. Currently, the project has achieved the following results: 6 Inch IGBT Zone-melt silicon wafers have already been industrialized. 8 Inch-sized zone-melted silicon single-crystal wafers have begun to be available for sampling. 8 The prototype of the inch-level zone-melting single-crystal furnace has been successfully trial-produced. Among them, 6 Inch IGBT Zone-melt silicon polished wafers have been supplied both domestically and internationally. IGBT Supplied by the manufacturer; independently developed by Zhonghuan Shares. 1200V Groove type IGBT The devices have begun to be available for sampling; the zone-melting furnace equipment developed for this project is now capable of stable production. 8 Inch IGBT Using zone-melted silicon single crystals, and with equipment and process control levels comparable to those of imported zone-melting furnaces, certain parameters even surpass those of imported zone-melting furnaces.

Academician Wang Xi and his delegation listened carefully to the report, gaining a detailed understanding of the industrialization status of the project’s achievements, as well as the production, supply, and downstream manufacturing conditions of zone-melt silicon single-crystal wafers. Accompanied by General Manager Shen Haoping and others, they conducted on-site inspections of the zone-melt single-crystal, wafer-processing, and device-production lines at Tianjin Huan’ou, Zhonghuan Leading, and Zhonghuan Shares.
