The 2025 Integrated Circuit Industry Ultra-Clean Technology Innovation and Development Conference was grandly held in Hangzhou.

On November 7, the 2025 Integrated Circuit Industry Ultra-Clean Technology Innovation and Development Conference was grandly held in Hangzhou. Approximately 700 experts, scholars, and corporate representatives from China’s ultra-clean technology sector in the integrated circuit industry gathered to discuss innovative applications and future development trends of ultra-clean technology in the integrated circuit industry.

In early winter, Hangzhou is swept by a cool, steady breeze, and the autumn moon shines endlessly. 11 Moon 7 Day, 2025 The Conference on the Innovative Development of Ultra-Clean Technologies in the Integrated Circuit Industry was solemnly held in Hangzhou. The conference was guided by the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission and organized by the Integrated Circuit Materials Industry Technology Innovation Alliance (Materials Alliance) and the Semiconductor Supporting Industries Branch of the China Semiconductor Industry Association, with Hangzhou Kebote Filtration Equipment Co., Ltd. serving as the host.

This conference builds upon the Ultra-Clean Technology Innovation Consortium, initiated and championed by the Materials Alliance, and is designed to create a broader and deeper platform for collaborative exchange.

This conference brings together 700 A group of experts, scholars, and corporate representatives from China’s integrated circuit ultra-clean technology field came together to discuss innovative applications and future development trends of ultra-clean technology in the integrated circuit industry.

Mr. Sun Xudong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee of Zhejiang Province and Secretary of the Shaoshan District Party Committee; Mr. Jin Xinren, Second-Level Inspector of the Zhejiang Provincial Development and Reform Commission; Ms. Shi Ying, Secretary-General of the Integrated Circuit Materials Industry Technology Innovation Alliance and the Semiconductor Supporting Industries Branch of the China Semiconductor Industry Association; and Chairman of Beijing North Huachuang Microelectronics Equipment Co., Ltd.— CEO Mr. Dong Boyu, Hangzhou Kebote Filtration Equipment Co., Ltd. CEO Mr. Zhang Yingmin attended the conference and delivered a speech.

During the summit forum session, Mr. Kang Jing, General Manager of Northern Integrated Circuit Technology Innovation Center (Beijing) Co., Ltd., and Mr. Koichi Nakata, Chief Researcher at Kurita Industrial Co., Ltd.,... Gachon University professor and former senior manager at Samsung Semiconductor JEON JINHO Mr., Hangzhou Kebote Filtration Equipment Co., Ltd. Chief Technology Officer Mr. Yoshinori Yamada, Mr. Wang Meng, Quality Director of Copec, Mr. Chen Zhenchang, General Manager of Copec Taiwan, Mr. Xu Yisheng, Professor at East China University of Science and Technology, Dr. Peng Shuwen, Chief Scientist at Shanghai Huayi San-Aifu New Materials Co., Ltd., and Mr. Li Dawei, Fluids Director at Copec, each delivered a presentation.

The report shares insights into the challenges and development trends facing chip cleaning, wet-process cleaning technologies and best practices, innovative water treatment technologies, ultra-clean fluid control and delivery, emerging directions in electronic chemicals, research progress on high-purity fluorine materials, as well as reflections on China’s efforts to advance the high-end and differentiated development of its integrated circuit industry.

During the conference, a thematic salon on micro-pollution control technologies and a factory tour of Kebote were also organized. The attending guests gained a close and intuitive understanding of the production processes and quality control systems related to ultra-clean technologies, which played a positive role in fostering future technological and industrial collaborations.

The integrated circuit industry is now embracing a dual opportunity—both policy support and technological transformation. As a critical enabler of the integrated circuit industry’s development, the importance of ultrapure technology is becoming increasingly prominent.   ——   From addressing the challenges of controlling microcontaminants in advanced manufacturing processes to ensuring the yield of nanoscale chip fabrication, it permeates every critical stage—including chip manufacturing, packaging and testing, as well as key equipment and materials—and serves as the core foundation for determining product yield, performance, and quality.

Currently, China’s domestic integrated circuit industry chain and supply chain have made significant progress. Looking ahead to the challenges posed by more advanced technologies, there is an urgent need to further refine and establish efficient, collaborative innovation mechanisms that span the entire industry. We must accelerate the localization of critical basic raw materials and strengthen the new-quality productivity of the integrated circuit materials supply chain. We believe that with the active promotion of this conference, the innovative development and wider adoption of ultra-clean technologies will reach a new milestone.
