The 2025 Integrated Circuit Silicon Materials Industry Chain Collaborative Innovation Forum was successfully held in Beijing.

On November 24, during the 22nd China International Semiconductor Expo (IC China), the Integrated Circuit Materials Alliance and the Supporting Industries Branch of the China Semiconductor Industry Association jointly hosted the 2025 Integrated Circuit Silicon Materials Industry Chain Collaborative Innovation Forum. More than 100 experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives from the silicon materials industry chain attended the forum.

On November 24, during the 22nd China International Semiconductor Expo (IC China), the Integrated Circuit Materials Alliance and the Supporting Industries Branch of the China Semiconductor Industry Association jointly hosted the 2025 Integrated Circuit Silicon Materials Industry Chain Collaborative Innovation Forum. Over a hundred experts, scholars, and enterprise representatives from the silicon materials industry chain attended the event.

This forum focuses on collaborative innovation across the silicon materials industry chain, exploring pathways for technological breakthroughs in the silicon materials sector and strategies for building supply-chain security. Together, we will identify breakthroughs to overcome bottlenecks in technological innovation and iteration, strengthen the industry’s foundational capabilities, and promote high-quality development of China’s silicon materials industry and its supply chain.

Wang Junjie, Executive Secretary-General of the China Semiconductor Industry Association, delivered a speech at the forum, calling on government agencies, enterprises, and research institutions to strengthen cooperation, taking technological innovation as the core driving force, and jointly enhancing the core competitiveness and global influence of China’s silicon materials industry.

Dr. Li Wei, Executive Vice President of Shanghai Silicon Industry Group; Dr. Lan Xun, Chief Technology Officer of Xi'an Yisiwei Materials; Mr. Zhao Erjing, Senior Engineer at Youyan Semiconductor Silicon Materials; Dr. Zhu Liang, Vice President of Zhejiang Jingsheng Machinery & Electronics; Ms. Cao Jingjing, Senior Sales Manager at Shengmei Semiconductor Equipment; Mr. Zhou Ming, General Manager of Samik Advanced Materials; Dr. Liu Weili, General Manager of Zhejiang Xinchuangna Electronics; and Mr. Li Wei, Deputy General Manager of Ningxia Dunyuan Juxin—among other experts—delivered keynote speeches at the conference. They discussed with the attendees the current status and future development directions of key links in the silicon materials industry chain, focusing on topics such as the industrialization of large-size silicon wafers, innovation in critical equipment, R&D of core materials, and supply-chain security.

Concurrently with the forum, a closed-door matchmaking meeting for the silicon materials industry chain was also organized, inviting upstream and downstream enterprises in the silicon materials industry chain to engage in face-to-face exchanges.
