邀请报告嘉宾Prof. Weisheng Zhao

Weisheng Zhao received the Ph. D. degree in physics from the University of Paris-Sud, France, in 2007. From 2004 to 2007, he investigated spintronic device based non-volatile logic circuits in cooperation with STMicroelectronics. After two year post-doc fellowship in French Atomic Agency (CEA) on nano-device based neuromorphic computing, he joined the CNRS as a tenured research scientist and led the spintronics integration group up to 2013. From 2014, he becomes a distinguished professor in Beihang University, Beijing, China and leads Fert Beijing Research Institute. His research interests include the hybrid integration of nano-devices with CMOS circuit and new non-volatile memory like STT-MRAM and Racetrack Memory. Weisheng has authored or co-authored more than 150 scientific papers (e.g Advanced Material, Nature Communications, IEEE Transactions etc.) and hold 34 patents. He is a senior member of IEEE and associate editor for the leading journals like IEEE Transactions on Nanotechnology and Electronics Letters etc.
