According to reports, SMIC’s sales revenue in the second quarter was US$1.344 billion, an increase of 21.8% month-on-month and 43.2% year-on-year. Net profit was US$688 million, a month-on-month increase of 332.9% and year-on-year growth of 398.5%; at the same time, the gross profit margin also increased from the previous year. 22.7% in the previous quarter increased to 30.1%.
