On August 6, Zhonghuan Semiconductor released the 2021 semi-annual report. The report shows that in the first half of the year, Zhonghuan Semiconductor ’s operating income was 17.644 billion yuan, an increase of 104.12% year-on-year; the net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 1.480 billion yuan, an increase of 174.92% year-on-year.
The announcement specifically mentions that in terms of customer expansion, the company will seize the opportunity of characteristic process increments and achieve large-scale mass production. In particular, 12-inch products have become the baseline for many customers. Under the background of tight global chip production capacity, the expansion of international silicon wafer manufacturers is slower than that of domestic ones. The company welcomes more open opportunities for cooperation with international customers, and signs long-term supply agreements (LTA) with many international customers to enhance global competitiveness.
