Recently, the Chinese Academy of Sciences announced the list of new academicians in 2017. Yang Deren, deputy director of the Alliance Expert Advisory Committee, expert of the 02 special group, and professor of the School of Materials Science and Engineering of Zhejiang University, was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
Professor Yang Deren has long been engaged in research work on silicon single crystal materials for ultra-large-scale integrated circuits, solar photovoltaic silicon materials, silicon-based optoelectronic materials and devices, nano-silicon and nano-semiconductor materials.
