On November 8, 2018, the 13th China IC Industry Promotion Conference was held at Nanping Convention and Exhibition Center in Chongqing. With the theme of “Core Time, Core Moving”, the conference released the results of the 2018 “China Core” excellent product collection and launched a series of high-end seminars on semiconductor silicon materials, power semiconductors, artificial intelligence, 5G communication, and driver ICs. Ying Shi, Secretary-General of Integrated Circuit Materials and Components Industry Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, and expert of the National 02 Special Group, was invited to attend the conference and delivered a keynote speech on "China Semiconductor Silicon Materials Industry Status and Prospects" at the Semiconductor Silicon Materials Seminar.
The semiconductor silicon materials seminar is based on the topic of “Sustainable Breakthrough in the Domesticization of Semiconductor Silicon Material Industry Chain”. Many leading experts from various well-known enterprises in related fields and corporate managers gathered together to discuss the development trends, strategies, opportunities and future of the domestic semiconductor silicon materials industry from the perspectives of policy support, enterprise development and changes in industry scale.
