March 17-19, 2015, the annual semiconductor industry event SemiconChina 2015 was held at the Shanghai New International Expo Center. The Materials Alliance cooperated with SEMI to set up a “Material Alliance Zone” in Hall W5 of the exhibition area, and organized more than 20 member units to participate in the exhibition. During the exhibition, Secretary General Shi Jie invited experts from Intel and Maxim Integrated to take charge of material procurement and supplier management to visit the member units of the Alliance Zone to understand and select potential suppliers and domestic materials companies for international integrated circuit manufacturing companies. The international market has established a cooperative communication channel.

 Result

The Materials Alliance has set up a “Material Alliance Zone” during SEMICON China for two consecutive years. This method is not only conducive to mutual exchanges between member units, but also facilitates customers to have a more comprehensive understanding of domestic material enterprises, and reflects the overall advantages of the domestic integrated circuit industry, which has been widely recognized by alliance members. During the exhibition, Secretary General Shi Jie invited experts from Intel and Maxim Integrated of the United States to take charge of materials procurement and supplier management to visit the member units of the alliance area, regarding the material products, technical level, production capacity, customer service and quality of related enterprises. The exchanges and guarantees of market development have been carried out in depth, and cooperative communication channels have been established for international IC manufacturing companies to understand and select potential suppliers and domestic materials companies to explore the international market.
